Job: Transport Aide Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt Job Category: 9 Service Workers
Position Summary The Transport Aide will transport patients to designated areas in the facility. Working closely with nursing registration and medical imaging staff daily.
Essential Functions -Greets patients/visitors providing accurate instructions directions or information. -Transports patients in a timely manner. -Distributes any necessary documents to other areas of the hospital or office. -Timely reports information to the technologist. -Cleans and maintains equipment. -Always ensures the safety of patients. -Adheres to and follows all patient experience initiatives. -Reports to and depart from work on time and as scheduled. -Performs other duties as assigned. -Must be able to deal with stress while maintaining composure. -Follows and adheres to TRMC vaccine policy(s) mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Work Experience -Prior work experience in a position of public exposure requiring customer service skills preferred.
Education -High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
