We are currently seeking a committed Special Education Teacherto join the Baker Prairie Middle Schoolteam for the upcoming school year. This position serves the Supported Learning Center at BPMS. This is afull-time permanent position.

License Requirement:
Must hold a valid non-provisional Oregon teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education.

3 paid IEP workload relief days per year
Canby is proud to have an amazing team of special education administrative assistants who lighten special educators loads by scheduling all IEP meetings completing team meeting notices finalizing paperwork and emailing/mailing paperwork home to parents and guardians
Compensation & Incentives
National Board Certification stipend: $1000
Doctorate degree stipend: $1000

$1564/month district contribution for medical dental and vision
Licensed insurance pool may reduce or eliminate your premium
High-deductible HSA plan option with district contributions to your HSA
Monthly opt-out stipend if waiving insurance
Work-Life Balance
10 paid sick days/year
5 paid personal days/year (with payout for up to 3 unused days)
Minimum of 70 minutes of protected prep time daily
Paid per diem for missed prep time due to student meetings
Remote work allowed on grading and non-student days
Professional and Personal Growth
Reimbursement for up to 12 quarter credits/year at PSU rate
Access to mentorship and instructional coaching
Yes we have a wellness program and it includes kayaks!
* Please note salary and benefits will be pro-rated to 0.4 FTE for the months during which the assignment is part-time (Tuesday/Thursday).
