Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our South Indian QSR outlet. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of South Indian cuisine and culture a knack for fast-paced service environments and experience leading a team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Service
- Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain high levels of food hygiene cleanliness and safety in compliance with FSSAI regulations.
- Ensure timely service and high-quality customer experience at all touchpoints.
- Monitor food presentation and portion control especially for traditional items like dosa idli vada etc.
Team Management
- Lead train and motivate service crew kitchen staff and cleaners.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage daily rosters.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure team is aligned with service goals and SOPs.
- Handle grievances staff discipline and on-the-job coaching.
Customer Experience
- Handle customer queries feedback and complaints professionally.
- Ensure friendly polite and culturally sensitive customer interactions.
- Proactively engage with guests and encourage upselling of combo meals beverages and add-ons.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase/inventory team for replenishment.
- Prevent wastage and ensure adherence to portioning standards.
- Maintain accurate records of sales wastage and returns.
Reporting & Compliance
- Report daily sales customer feedback and staff performance to management.
- Conduct routine audits on hygiene stock and cash handling.
- Ensure POS systems billing and order-taking are followed properly.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 23 years in a supervisory role in a QSR or South Indian restaurant.
- Education: Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Excellent communication in English and Kannada other South Indian languages will (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam) will be a bonus.
- Basic computer literacy (POS Excel)
- Understanding of F&B hygiene standards and QSR service models
