An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Radiographer to join our experienced and friendly team at Clifton Park Hospital in York.
The successful applicant will work across various areas of the hospital including outpatients theatres wards and within the radiology department. As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team (MDT) youll play a key role in delivering diagnostic imaging for a variety of surgical patients including orthopaedics ENT and cosmetic surgery.
This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure strong working relationships with consultants nursing teams and administrative staff. Daily liaison with consultants is a key aspect of this position.
In addition to clinical duties you will also be responsible for a range of non-clinical tasks including stock ordering audits supporting appointment bookings and handling telephone enquiries.
Clifton Park Hospital opened in 2006 is situated just outside York city centre. Rated Good by the Care Quality Commission the hospital offers 24 beds two theatres a day case unit and a large outpatients department with x-ray and physiotherapy facilities including a small gym.
