What youll do:The control room technician reports to the WTG Manager and is responsible for the remote monitoring of wind turbines in offshore wind farms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remote monitoring control and operation of offshore wind farms in a 24/7 shift system
- Error detection and in-depth error analysis including remote troubleshooting for offshore wind turbines with a focus on wind turbines
- Provide technical support to offshore site personnel particularly troubleshooting
- Supporting the maintenance management of wind farms
- Support in the continuous development and improvement of processes to ensure and optimize the system safety and availability of the wind turbines
- Implementation of shutdowns in wind farm networks and in particular of wind turbines
- Communication and technical discussion with remote third parties and OEMs

Qualifications and experience:
- Completed training in an electrical engineering profession (or comparable qualification)
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical mechanical and hydraulic systems (HV/LV systems converters generators programmable logic controllers) as well as knowledge of auxiliary systems of wind turbines
- Experience in servicing and troubleshooting wind turbines ideally in the area of offshore wind energy
- Experience with Senvion 5/6XM wind turbines or comparable wind turbine manufacturers desirable
- High security awareness
- Very good MS Office knowledge and experience in dealing with ERP systems
- Knowledge of English
- Teamwork and resilience when solving technical problems
- Responsible thinking
- Be structured flexible and reliable
- Drivers license
