- Must have active NV1 or higher security clearance
Our high profile Federal Government client are seeking multiple Senior Software Developers to fill positions across the Agency.
It is expected that prior to submitting an application to the Department you possess an active NV1 NV2 or Positive Vet (PV) security clearance.
Software Developersare responsible for delivering innovative capabilities by developing and integrating software solutions. They play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle from initial design to final deployment.
Key duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Support maintain and enhance existing software capability ensuring application availability.
- Ensure quality and security of software capability through appropriate testing and review.
- Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures.
- Engage with business and product owners to clarify and fully develop user requirements using agile development methods.
- Document technical processes in accordance with organisational policies and procedures and promote bi-directional knowledge transfer within a team environment.
Technical Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in the Cyber Security or related domain would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated competence in Java software development (.Net or other programming experience will also be considered).
- Demonstrated competence with Python and/or similar experience with other scripting languages.
- Experienced in developing and deploying software within a Linux / UNIX environment.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of automation and deployment tools.
Submission Details
Deadline: 21/07
Duration: 15 months from September 2025
Eligibility: Australian Citizenship and NV1 NV2 or PV (Positive Vetting) clearance
Location: Canberra Brisbane Melbourne and Perth
Working Arrangements: Onsite 40 hours per week
