FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVE
Water Resources Planner I
Participate in planning developing and implementing water management programs projects and contracts to meet the water supply needs of Kern County.
Water Resources Planner II
Assist with planning developing and implementing water management programs projects and contracts to meet the water supply needs of Kern County.
Water Resources Planner III
Assist with or lead planning developing and implementing water management programs projects and contracts to meet the water supply needs of Kern County.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelors degree in business environmental studies engineering or related field with applicable coursework.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations
Valid California Class C or higher driver license.
Experience
Water Resources Planner I
Six (6) months in a related or unrelated field.
Water Resources Planner II
Two (2) years of increasing responsibility performing business environmental engineering or planning-related functions.
Water Resources Planner II
Four (4) years of increasing responsibility performing business environmental engineering or planning-related functions.
