General Neurology FacultyKey Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for patients with a broad range of neurological conditions in the general neurology service.
Deliver primary neuropalliative care to patients with serious progressive neurologic diseases such as ALS advanced dementia high-grade gliomas multiple system atrophy and others.
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including neurology subspecialists palliative care social work case management and rehabilitation services.
Support goals-of-care discussions symptom management advance care planning and transitions in care.
Participate in academic activities including teaching medical students residents and fellows.
Engage in quality improvement and scholarly projects relevant to neuropalliative care and general neurology.
Participate in shared call responsibilities as appropriate for general neurology.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Neurology.
Work Experience:
Fellowship training in Hospice & Palliative Medicine and/or significant experience or interest in neuropalliative care.
License:
Eligibility for medical licensure in Kansas & Missouri.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work Experience:
Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary team-based care and medical education.
Interest or experience in research or program development in neuropalliative care.
Skills:
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
