Role Overview:
As a Software Engineering Intern you will gain hands-on experience working with experienced engineers on real-world projects that support Avayas mission to deliver exceptional customer and employee experiences through technology. This is an opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative fast-paced environment while contributing to meaningful products used globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design development and testing of software features for Avayas cloud and communication platforms
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers
- Participate in code reviews daily stand-ups and team meetings
- Debug issues write unit tests and contribute to software quality improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product QA and UX
- Stay up to date with industry trends technologies and best practices
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for learning and eagerness to grow in a professional software development environment
