Job Description

Position Summary:

To inspect all areas of the hotel including guest rooms and common areas to ensure that they are being cleaned according to standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making beds using hospital corners with the end product wrinkle free.
  • Cleans bathrooms with proper cleaners leaving chrome and tile spotless.
  • Dusts rooms including wall hangings all furniture glass molding lamps etc.
  • Ensures all guest supplies are restocked in guest rooms.
  • Vacuums rooms and hallways.

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours length of time.
  • Ability to lift grasp or cany 25 lbs.
  • Ability to bend with a full range of motion.
  • Walking 8 hours.
  • Repeated bending 4 hours.
  • Ability to walk on uneven or slippery conditions.
  • Ability to understand English if receiving instructions in English.
  • Willingness to work weekends holidays and/or flexible hours.
  • Willingness to comply with hotels policy and procedures regarding attendance and attire.
  • Ability to use all equipment as stated below under Technology & Equipment.

Technology and Equipment:

  • Ability to operate a computer specifically Excel and Word.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as but not limited to a vacuum.
  • Ability to properly and safely use chemicals.
