Essential Key Job Responsibilities
1. Sets-up troubleshoots calibrates cleans and maintains Dialysis equipment in accordance with manufacturers and organization guidelines
2. Assists with routine water testing and records results in log book and monitors water purification system
3. Assists in making observations gathering data and identifying patient care needs
4. Assists with patient transports and transfers
5. Answer telephones filing greet patients/visitors transcribe providers orders electronic data entry and assist with documentation
Required Education and Experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Dialysis Tech experience preferred
Required Licensure and Certifications
BLS-CPR
Dialysis Tech certification by a state or National Program *must be obtained within 1 year of date of hire or transfer
Required Minimum Knowledge Skills Abilities and Training
Strong oral communications skills
Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
Strong critical thinks skills
Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities
