Lecturer in Horticulture The Role:

Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable horticulture professional to join our team as aVariable Hours Lecturer. As a Lecturer in Horticulture you will deliver high-quality practical and theory-based teaching to learners at different stages of their education. You will contribute to the development of a curriculum that reflects current industry standards and supports learners in achieving their goals.

Lecturer in Horticulture-Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire and Educate: Share your knowledge and insights with our eager students.
• Engage and Motivate: Deliver engaging and relevant teaching learning and assessment experiences.
• Innovate: Develop creative schemes of work and lesson plans that captivate and educate.
• Support: Provide guidance and support to students helping them achieve their career goals.
• Collaborate: Work with industry partners to enhance our curriculum and offer valuable work placement opportunities.

Lecturer in Horticulture You:

We are looking for individuals who have:

• Industry Expertise: Substantial professional experience in horticulture landscaping garden design or a related field.
• Passion for Teaching: A strong desire to share your expertise and help others succeed.
• Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Further Education Experience: Experience in Further Education is desirable but not essential.
