As a QA Analyst at CGI youll work in a highly collaborative environment to support the analysis planning and execution of testing processes that ensure the quality and reliability of technology products and services for our clients. Your future duties and responsibilities:
How youll make an impact
Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test plans and test cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and identify testing needs
Execute manual tests and document results clearly and accurately
Log track and manage defects through resolution using test management or issue tracking tools
Support system integration regression and user acceptance testing efforts
Contribute to test data creation and validation strategies
Help improve QA documentation processes and best practices
This position is located in Belton TX in a hybrid working model.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
What youll need
Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology Computer Science or Information Systems with exposure to software development or systems analysis (Minor or significant coursework in the areas also welcome)
Foundational understanding of software development and testing lifecycles (SDLC/STLC)
Ability to interpret business and technical requirements into test scenarios
Exposure to SQL or scripting languages is a plus
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
A phenomenal attitude and hunger for learning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work in the U.S. permanently

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience and training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $48000 - $55000.
