Job Description
A respected nonprofit organization is seeking a Volunteer & Coordinator Director to lead and manage a large network of over 1200 volunteers. This full-time role involves maintaining up-to-date records assigning volunteers to programs and events and acting as the key point of contact for all volunteer-related communications. You will work closely with department managers to ensure staffing coverage for ongoing operations campaigns and special events.
Ideal candidates are mature organized have strong leadership and communication skills and are comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day volunteer operations and assignments
- Maintain accurate records of volunteers and their roles
- Serve as main contact for volunteer coordination and support
- Ensure volunteer coverage for programs campaigns and events
- Collaborate with managers on special projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient in computer systems and digital tools
- Interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Basic office experience required
- Creativity and initiative a plus
