Metros Speech Department continues to grow and were hiring a full time Speech-Language Pathologist in Huntington. The caseload consists of 6 hours in our Huntington outpatient clinic with potential to build and the remaining hours doing homecare across Suffolk County.
Caseload demographics include: Aphasia Dysphagia Pediatrics School-Age Voice Feeding Cognitive Communication Disorders AAC use etc.
*Unfortunately we are not accepting CFs at this time due to inability to bill for Medicare B services.
Job Type: Full Time w/ benefits
Salary: $70-75k
Schedule: Flexible
Setting: Hybrid outpatient (Huntington clinic) & homecare cases

- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York
- TSSLD
- Evaluates a patients need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members Home Health Aides and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications (live course)
