The incumbent will provide a diversity equity inclusion and accessible approach to the care offered to the campus community. This position will also utilize a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts.

Extensive experience conducting psychosocial assessments developing safety and action plans and evaluating risk and protective factors to support client well-being. Skilled in crisis intervention emergency response and assisting individuals with disabilities during evacuations. Adept at working with diverse populations across cultural socio-economic and educational backgrounds. Strong knowledge of FERPA HIPAA EMR systems and workplace safety protocols.
Excellent communicator with proven ability to engage students faculty staff and parents. Highly organized detail-oriented and capable of managing complex information and coordinating events including physical logistics. Demonstrates sound judgment discretion and initiative in both independent and collaborative settings. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite maintains confidentiality under pressure and is flexible with scheduling including weekends.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies procedures and guidelines including but not limited to safety civility information security and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the universitys commitment to a vision of excellence.
A bachelors degree with upper or graduate coursework in counseling and guidance human relations or related fields and four years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas required.
Masters degree in counseling Social Work MFT or related field (preferred).
Minimum of two years of experience providing services to vulnerable populations (preferred).
Professional/Clinical licensure or currently working towards licensure (preferred).

Salary placement is determined by the education experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position internal equity and the hiring departments fiscal resources.
Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $6320 - $9014 per month commensurate with candidates education experience skills and training.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $6320 - $7113 per month.
Excellent benefits through CalPERS (health vision dental) tuition fee waiver generous vacation and sick leave and 14 paid holidays each year.
1.0 time-base 40 hours per week.
