What you will do
Lead the development of new platform technologies and solutions for RHOAI
Advise leadership in technical advancements
Contribute to architecture and design of RHOAI and provide input that elevates the platform and user experience
Define and apply RHOAI policies to ensure our RHOAI components are observable and scalable
Design plans that would affect all components and help ensure implementation is rolled out across teams.
Use CI/CD best practices to develop and deliver solutions
Participate in upstream communities such as Kubeflow to ensure the technologies work on OpenShift and can be integrated with RHOAI
Present at OpenShift/Kubernetes and AI/ML related technology conferences and internally within the AI/ML communities of practice
Work with the open source communities to evaluate new AI ML and big data technologies and create examples of integrations between their technology and RHOAI
Mentor and guide other engineers
What you will bring
Solid innovation skills and a passion for technology
Strong software architect background leading the consistency needed across RHOAI technology stack
Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent English language skills
Strong understanding of Linux operating system
Strong experience with Go programming language
Demonstrable expertise in Python
Experience building and deploying container-based applications to include the install/upgrade through our operator
Understanding of how Open Source and Free Software communities work
Understanding Kubernetes architecture and operators/controllers
Experience troubleshooting complex issues in distributed systems
Experience with development for public cloud services (AWS GCE Azure)
Nice to Haves
Security background
Knowledge of prometheus monitoring stack
Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or other related discipline

The salary range for this position is $157750.00 - $260200.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location experience applicable skills and training external market value and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hats compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus commission and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
