Wells Fargo has committed to hire military spouses/domestic partners of actively serving military personnel and is seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveVulnerability and Patch Management Specialist (Senior Business Accountability Specialist) to oversee the governance coordination and compliance of patching across our Network infrastructure. This role ensures timely remediation of vulnerabilities alignment with security policies and minimal disruption to business operations.

In this role you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within business and contribute to large-scale cross-functional planning related to mitigation of current and emerging business risk issues and concerns
- Assess analyze and design moderately complex controls protocols and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment including ensuring effective planning for sustainability ongoing control adherence reporting measurement technology impacts and monitoring
- Independently make decisions and resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging solid understanding of the businesss functional area or products operations and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; lead peers and key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and mid-level managers to address current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations and provide guidance or support in interpreting developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Partner with peers and the business in interactions with external parties to support appropriateness and timeliness of response and effectiveness of communications and materials
- May serve as a mentor for lower-level staff
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive patch management policy and governance framework.
- Coordinate with IT DevOps and Security teams to track and report scheduling and deployment of patches across systems applications and network devices.
- Monitor vulnerability feeds (e.g. CVE NVD) and assess patch applicability and urgency.
- Track patch deployment progress and ensure compliance with internal SLAs and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain patch management tools and dashboards for visibility and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments related to patching.
- Provide executive-level reporting on patch compliance risk posture and remediation timelines.
- Lead incident response efforts related to unpatched vulnerabilities or failed patch deployments.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of risk management business controls quality assurance business operations compliance or process experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
- 2 years of technology project management experience
- 2 years of experience with data analysis and documentation
- 1 year of technical experience with Network/Security devices and Asset Management.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in IT security systems administration or vulnerability management.
- Experience analyzing data sets drawing out conclusions and trends and communicating those trends to broader audiences.
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows Linux) endpoint management tools (e.g. SCCM WSUS Intune) and patching platforms.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Qualys Tenable Rapid7).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST CIS ISO 27001).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Effective communicator. Writes clearly compellingly and in a way that breaks down complex topics into their most important components.
- Experienced in strategic problem solving with a strong track record of data-informed decision-making using analytical insights sound judgment and industry knowledge to anticipate trends and shape effective organizational strategies
- Experience with scripting or automation (e.g. PowerShell Python) is a plus.
- Preferred Certifications; CCNACompTIA Security Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) Microsoft Certified: Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
- Ability to produce a copy of military orders including applicant

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84000.00 - $164400.00
