Summary of Job Duties:

The Advanced Practice Nurse will assist the collaborative physician with clinic patients organizing visits and performing clinic procedures assist in the procedural room and answer calls on daily basis for the Neurology subspecialty for evaluation treatment and procedures for the General and Vascular patient population.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in nursing
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas Current AR APRN License

  • Collaborates in policy and program development implementation and evaluation using best practices in delivering quality service.
  • Collaborates with a variety of health care professionals to diagnose and manage patients health care problems serving as a resource interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate.
  • Manages post procedure immunosuppression and labs of patient in coordination with physician and pharmacist.
  • Coordinates specialized multidisciplinary care and facilitates consults of patients to assure timely and appropriate treatment.
  • Provides comprehensive health assessments determines diagnoses implements treatment plans prescribes medical treatments and manages health issues for patients in collaboration with the designated physician.
  • Edits and documents results in various critical care systems.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
