Description

The Claims System Associate is responsible for ensuring system issues are researched reviewed and resolved between the registration system scrubber and billing systems for accurate claims adjudication. This includes analysis of data and reporting needs related to scrubber and billing items as discovered. This position is responsible for reviewing multiple systems to identify errors incomplete processes and appropriate system throughput. Partner with the Claims Systems Supervisor for special projects research computer conversions and software updates and releases. The Claims System Associate represents the team on special system projects.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications Required None Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Bachelor Degree preferred. Medical terminology and coding knowledge helpful but not required. Experience Requirements One (1) year Information Systems and Medical Office background preferred. One (1) year experience in customer service preferred. Special Skills or Training Requirements Proficient 10 key/calculator skills preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.
