Primary Care Physician (1099)
Pay rate: $115 hr-$130 hr/1099

Duration: Three-month contract from 08/04/2025 until 11/04/2025.

Description:
The Client a TJC-accredited hospital has an opportunity for a primary care physician to provide basic medical care to our patients. The hospital currently serves approximately 320 patients with an average length of stay measured in months to years. Our clients ages range from early adulthood into their 80s so there is a wide range of both health maintenance and treatment needs to be provided. This is not a typical hospitalist position as the best candidates will want to cultivate long-term physician-patient relationships with those patients they serve.
You will be working with a staff of professionals where the culture is collaborative and the energy is high. Patient loads are relatively low (60-80 long-term patients total usually seeing less than 10 patients per day) and you will collaborate with other primary care physicians and nurse practitioners along with psychiatrists/psychiatric NPs and other treatment team members on the wards to which you are assigned.
The facility is in Farmington a community of about 15000 on the edge of the Ozarks with a low cost of living good schools and many opportunities for outdoor recreation. Farmington has a small towns friendliness and charm while being only about an hour from St. Louis and all the amenities of a large city.
