As an Assistant Buyer youll be the hero behind the scenes ensuring our amazing products reach our customer seamlessly mastering everything from item creation purchase order to quality assurance!
Who We Are
Calling all foodies or trend-focused merchants! Join us as an Assistant Buyer in the Kitchen Electrics office to kick start or flourish in your merchandise buying career!
In this role you will help support the Kitchen Electrics heated department including noteworthy brands such as Ninja Cuisinart Blackstone as well as private label and celebrity brand opportunities and more.
Your Impact
- Unleash your inner entrepreneur! Youll be the maestro orchestrating product negotiations dreaming up dazzling new concepts and fetching that sales gold across all our platforms! With your keen eye for spotting trends youll turn customer insights into new products and shows that resonate with QVC fans
- Identify and negotiate products prices and terms to deliver sales results across multiple platforms
- Translate product and customer trends into actionable ideas concepts products and shows that appeal to QVC customers
- Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Maintain robust communication with vendors and cross-functional teams strengthening internal and external relationships
- Take lead in the office during the Buyer Is absence
What You Bring
- Your academic flair with a Bachelors degree (or equivalent superhero-level business experience in corporate buying)
- 1 years of hands-on experience in related fieldsa solid foundation ready to build a phenomenal future
- Understanding of Retail Math strongly preferred
