The Role: Associate Director - Senior DevOps Engineer
The Team: Lead a newly-established horizontal function within the Plan & Build technology team where innovation and collaboration are at the forefront. The team will integrate existing DevOps capabilities with exciting greenfield opportunities driving the development of new products while enhancing the support for our current offerings.

You will have the opportunity to design build and enhance every aspect of the delivery pipeline and infrastructure definitions. Responsibilities:
Delivery Pipeline Development:
Design implement and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
Review existing delivery pipelines and identify areas for improvement ensuring best practices are followed.
Technical Operations Onboarding:
Lead the onboarding process for technical operations focusing on observability incident management telemetry and other operational best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and training in DevOps practices.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Review and build repeatable patterns for cloud infrastructure deployment ensuring scalability reliability and security.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or similar technologies.
Monitoring & Observability:
Establish and maintain monitoring and observability tools to ensure system performance and reliability.
Develop incident management processes and response strategies to minimize downtime and enhance system resilience.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with development QA and operations teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies to drive innovation within the team.
What Were Looking For:
10 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on CI/CD cloud infrastructure and operational processes.
Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred) Azure or Google Cloud.
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies configuration management tools (Ansible Chef Puppet) and source code management tools (GitLab Azure DevOps)
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
