Support Type: Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Shift Style: Rostered 24/7 (Morning Afternoon weekends and Sleepover)

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Certificate IV in Disability or a social service/health related course is essential.
  • Current First Aid CPR and Manual Handling certificates
  • Experience with high needs supports and behaviours of concern (desirable)
  • Flexibility and adaptability are critical in this role.
  • A well-developed ability to problem solve; think creatively and work safely
  • Ability to remain calm and seek appropriate support and guidance when required.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Good computer literacy skills including the use of MS Office Client Management Systems and other applications.
  • Being passionate about helping people and providing support!
  • Current and valid Victorian drivers licence.
