The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Legal Team:

RTX is looking for an experienced Investigations Counsel Global Ethics & Compliance to join the RTX Investigations team. The candidate will report to the Vice President GEC Investigations and will be responsible for conducting and managing corporate investigations and significant investigations at the businesses promoting enterprise-wide investigation best practices and providing counsel to both the corporate and business GEC organizations on other legal and regulatory issues.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct and manage all aspects of corporate investigations into alleged misconduct (including potential violations of law or regulations as well as company policies) working closely with members of the corporate investigation team and subject matter experts in other functions as appropriate.
  • Manage Corporate GEC engagement with and oversight of the businesses on-ongoing significant investigations and conduct complex and sensitive investigations escalated to the corporate investigations team by the businesses.
  • Establish and promote enterprise-wide cross-functional best practices relating to the conduct of investigations and assist in the development implementation and enhancement of RTX policies standard work and investigation processes.
  • Engage with external stakeholders on RTX compliance and disclosure matters including responding to requests for information and assisting in audit responses and support responses to law enforcement inquiries subpoenas and external investigations.
  • Provide counsel on legal and regulatory issues that arise in connection with GEC matters.
  • Represent Corporate GEC in periodic meetings of compliance-focused cross-functional groups.
  • Travel as necessary to conduct investigations.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school and a minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be admitted to the bar of at least one state.
  • Experience managing and conducting complex internal investigations.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Minimum 5 years of experience at a top law firm and/or with the government.
  • Experience providing legal counsel on a wide range of government contract compliance issues.
  • Experience building compliance programs and effecting change management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong and clear verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience with government contracting process TINA and the FAR.
  • Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-business teams at all levels of the organization to achieve results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize and manage a high-volume workload while working independently with minimal supervision.

Location

  • Onsite or Hybrid in Arlington VA or Farmington CT; onsite employees work regularly and consecutively onsite. Hybrid employees work both onsite and offsite regularly.

The salary range for this role is 162000 USD - 326000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
