Job Description
How will you make an impact as a Junior Manufacturing Engineer:
- Develop and maintain bill of materials line layout production control methodsclear assembly instructions fixtures and pFMEAs
- Plan conduct and execute pre-production builds with a vision for volume production
- Work collaboratively with engineering team to develop robust production-ready designs
- Consult with suppliers to determine product specifications working with supply chain team to purchase equipment materials and parts
- Interface with manufacturing partners for all stages of design transfer to ensure products meet performance criteria delivering a quality product on-time
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- 0-3 years experience in manufacturing environments regulated environment preferred
- Experience setting up a manufacturing assembly line with scalability to ramp production
- Knowledge of component forming processes assembly processes and production line optimization
- Understanding of Lean ManufacturingPrinciples
- Experiencewith CAD software
- Experience with electromechanical assembly
- Experience with design for manufacturability and design transfer
- Passionate about understanding how things work and solving tough technical problems
- Strong communication and time management skills
