Job Description

Summary
MS Technology Inc. is seeking a Data Architect or Data Engineer to support ongoing data integration and analytics initiatives across plant and business systems. This role is ideal for a mid- to senior-level professional with practical experience in data architecture integration and analytics. The ideal candidate is someone who can hit the ground running and ensure data flows securely and efficiently across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure seamless data integration across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Perform analytics on plant operations and business data to support decision-making.
  • Develop and support system-to-system data integrations; may include designing integration workflows.
  • Maintain awareness of and implement basic security requirements related to data handling.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering IT and operations teams to meet data-driven needs.
  • Document processes and develop tools or scripts as needed to support data integrity and performance.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Engineering Information Systems or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Mid-career or above with proven hands-on experience in data engineering architecture or analytics.
  • Technical education or training in data systems engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in system integration and data infrastructure support.
  • Strong programming skills (Python Scala Java).
  • Experience with cloud data platforms and big data technologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data governance.
  • Experience in data architecture and pipeline development.
  • Strong working knowledge of data flow ETL processes and integration design.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices and requirements in a technical environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DOE or commercial nuclear facilities.
  • Strong capabilities in technical leadership documentation and cross-functional teamwork.

Additional Skills:
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to deal with conflicts and stressful situations.
  • Ability to organize prioritize and follow multiple projects and tasks to completion.
  • Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint.
