We own hiring for these highly niche leadership roles for all of Amazon globally. The organization is comprised of recruiters researchers and recruiting coordinators and also includes central program management business analysts and admin staff to support operations process policy systems training communication change management data and analytics for the organization and partner organizations. GSR partners with and influences executive leaders in the business as well as PXT (HR) Legal Finance and Security.
The Design Practice within Global Specialty Recruiting is hiring a Sr Executive Design Recruiter based in Seattle. Our team supports continued growth of senior leadership in Amazons Design community. Design leadership at Amazon includes UX Design User Research Creative & Brand Industrial/Hardware Design and other specializations. In this role you will focus heavily on strategic prospect identification and network development cultivating relationships with design leadership prospects candidate assessment and matching candidates with appropriate teams and opportunities. You will own a portfolio of searches partnering closely with hiring leaders as talent advisors to identify current and future hiring needs develop and execute on targeted search strategies.
Key job responsibilities * Participate in the executive recruiting process for a portfolio of executive searches with responsibility for delivering against hiring goals * Conduct targeted research and establish specialized pipelines of executive design talent * Become an internal subject matter expertise on design hiring at Amazon and serve as a resource to design leaders and recruiting peers * Partner with senior design leaders on strategic programs and events with a goal of long-term engagement with passive candidates * Interview executive leaders and assess for functional skills level and Amazon leadership principals * Represent Amazon Design at design related conferences events and networking mixers * Learn and become a power user of our executive recruiting CRM.
* 7 years of recruiting experience * Experience working cross-functionally with a number of internal constituents academics and world-class subject matter experts * Track record of advising and guiding senior-level executive leaders
* Combination of in-house and agency experience * Experience recruiting for roles in the Design and Creative domains * Demonstrated success meeting hiring goals for senior or niche talent * Leadership recruiting experience strongly desired * Strong behavioral interviewing skills * Inquisitive; a strong desire to learn * A compelling communicator able to engage the attention of passive executive leaders; able to convey complex arguments through business writing
