Processing Technician


Job Title: Processing Technician - Operations
Location: Greenville SC

Job Overview:
The processing technician is responsible for the tissue processing packaging and labeling activities in a cleanroom environment. The processing technician will ensure compliance according to standard operating procedures applicable AATB standards and FDA regulations.

Job Requirements:
  • Performs tissue processing activities that produce the highest level of quality and yield outcomes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Understands the requirements to properly dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • Assist in the cleaning and sterilization of all the supplies used during processing
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of ISO 5 7 and 8 cleanrooms
  • Assist in packaging and labeling of allografts to be distributed
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving of human allografts
  • Safely handles chemical reagents and biohazardous waste according to standard operating procedures applicable AATB standards and FDA regulations
  • Comply with all company policies procedures and SOPs
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor

Job Qualifications:
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Be able to live 25lbs or more
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Medical background preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Constant wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Rigid controlled of sterile environment; possibly work near biomedical and chemical hazards
  • Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers (pinching touching pulling wrapping)
  • Background and drug screening may be administered
