Job Description

Biomedical Equipment Technician III (Contract)

Location: Houston TX 77091

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis in Houston TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance repair and calibration of a wide range of biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of biomedical equipment including life support.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
  • Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Train and mentor junior technicians
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in biomedical technology

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must pass background and drug screen.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
