The Software Support Analyst I will provide software support to users with limited computer experience along with determining hardware/network issues and installation of various products in conjunction with the software from a customer service standpoint and end-user training via phone support.
What You Will Do
Provide installation and setup assistance for related software systems and modules
Maintain and troubleshoot client/server software and desktop hardware
Test software provide end-user training create technical guides and print training materials
Provide phone support to end-users on a variety of technical issues
Identify research and resolve technical problems related to hardware and software via phone and remote connection
Document track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions
Thirty five percent travel required
Assist with related special projects as required
Who You Are
Bachelors Degree or three years of experience in the Information Technology field
Two years of experience in phone support in the IT field
Pharmacy experience preferred
On-site software implementation experience preferred
Knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures within the hardware and software field
Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting procedures
Knowledge of SQL Server installation and troubleshooting
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to type 50 words per minute by touch
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and verbal format
Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees both in person and on the phone
Advanced problem-solving skills
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team
Knowledge of SQL Server installation and troubleshooting
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Certifications:
A Certification a plus
Microsoft certified solutions expert (MCSE) a plus
