Whats your day like
As a Part Time Autism Aide I at Wasatch Behavioral Health you will play a crucial role in assisting with specialized therapeutic interactions for children with autism. Youll have the opportunity to implement individual and group behavior plans observe childrens interests and actions and create a safe and interactive environment. Your communication skills will be key as you engage with children to facilitate cooperation and learning while also promoting social behavior and expectations. In addition you may have the chance to administer standardized tests interpret results and contribute to the development of curriculum and treatment plans tailored to each childs unique needs. Your active involvement in scheduling various activities and monitoring client progress will be essential in promoting positive outcomes.

To excel in the role of Part Time Autism Aide I at Wasatch Behavioral Health candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED as well as one year of post-high school education in social work psychology or a related field. While not required having one year of general work experience would be beneficial. Additionally a combination of related education and experience will be considered.
Successful candidates must meet additional requirements including passing a drug screen motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. Upon hire individuals must obtain a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from the Utah State Office of Licensing. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
