Starting Date: 2025-2026 school year
Job Function:The principal shall serve as the educational leader of the staff and school
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate Masters Degree in School Administration or a related field and possess be
willing to obtain a School Administrator certification.
Five years of educational experience. School administration preferred.
Demonstrated classroom teaching ability.
Experience supervising and evaluating staff.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience and ability to develop implement and evaluate instructional curricula.
Demonstrated knowledge of State Content Standards and Benchmarks AIMSweb MSTEP Delta Math NWEA and
the local board adopted curriculum.
Classroom assessment and analysis data driven instruction and decision-making and State/Federal funding sources (Title I
II 31a 31n etc.).
Focus on student achievement K-5 curricular development alignment and implementation with data accountability
and reporting to determine existing and future programming.
Further duties/responsibilities will be determined by the Superintendent and Board of Education based upon the
candidates talents experiences abilities.
