Job Description
Job Title: Child Care Specialist
Job Type: Part time or Full time
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Safe at Home (SAH) a division of Kennedy Care is seeking dedicated and nurturing child care professionals to provide high-quality in-home care to families in your community. Whether youre looking for a flexible schedule or consistent hours we work with you to find the right fit. The ideal candidate has previous childcare experience and a proven track record of providing excellent care. To accommodate the families professional careers a caregiver offering flexible schedule options and experience in infant care is preferred.

- Flexible schedule
- Families participate in our internal screening process which is designed to help ensure a good fit between the family and Child Care Specialist.
- Work with one or multiple families to build a schedule that fits your availability and helps you reach your desired number of working hours.

Responsibilities and duties including but not limited to the following:
- Engaging with children in activities and play that stimulates their development
- Providing interesting and fun activities that are age appropriate
- Establish a professional rapport and relationship with families in order to provide quality care and friendly service
- Communication with our SAH team and families
- Ensure the safety and well being of each child by responding to their emotional social and physical needs

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of childcare experience
- Outstanding communication skills
- An undeniable positive can-do attitude
- Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
- Maintain availability for at least two full weekdays (MondayFriday). A full day is defined as a minimum of eight hours of consecutive availability between 6:00 AM 9:00 PM.
