ManpowerGroup Greece on behalf ofour client a global Healthcare Technology leader is seeking to recruit an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist.
Location: Marousi
Working days & hours: Monday to Friday morning hours
Working Model: Hybrid
You will be reporting to : the Regional EHS Manager
What you will do:
Manage EHS aspects for office & field-based employees in Greece ensuring compliance with national and corporate standards. Drive a proactive safety culture mitigate risks and partners with leadership office & field teams and regional EHS to deliver improvements.
More specifically:
- Ensure compliance with national and EU occupational health safety and environmental regulations including biological safety radiation protection and chemical management
- Conduct and regularly update risk assessments for office and field-based operations implementing appropriate control measures
- Maintain and improve the local EHS management system in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Prepare for and support EHS audits ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready
- Investigate accidents and incidents perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Design deliver and track EHS training for office and field personnel including onboarding and refresher sessions
- Monitor and report key EHS performance indicators (KPIs) and support continuous improvement efforts
- Develop test and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate evacuation drills and readiness activities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and act as the local point of contact for all EHS-related matters
- Support or lead EHS-related projects campaigns and initiatives to enhance workplace safety and sustainability.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health & Safety Engineering or similar
- 35 years of EHS experience preferably in healthcare medical devices or regulated industries
- Experience working in environments compliant with ISO 14001 standards
- Certified OHS specialist (e.g. NEBOSH or national equivalent)
- Autonomous proactive and accountable
- Practical and adaptable; balances compliance and operational needs
