Overview
St. Joseph Health Bryan/College Station Burleson Navasota Caldwell Madisonville TX. Since 1936 St. Joseph Health has been caring for the communities in and surrounding the Brazos Valley. We have a Level III Trauma Center the first Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center and the first accredited Chest Pain Center in the Brazos Valley. As an integrated healthcare system St. Joseph Health includes a comprehensive network of over 100 employed providers including primary care physicians specialists and advanced practice clinicians. The network includes more than 30 ambulatory clinics featuring primary care Express Clinics and imaging and diagnostic services.
Our Burleson Hospital is a 25 bed critial access hospital providing emergency inpatient and outpatient services.
Responsibilities

In this role your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury surgery or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and in some cases even friend.
Emergency Department RN Role:
- Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity setting
- Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical and emergent situations
- Provide care before during and after emergencies
- Proficiency with telemetry / cardiac Monitoring
- Passion for excellence in delivering quality care

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
BLS with skills demonstration
One year RN experience
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of RN experience Emergency Room
Bachelors in Nursing Preferred
