High School Football Assistant Coach
The High School Football Assistant Coach is responsible for instructing student athletes in the fundamental physical training skills and strategy necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time the student athlete shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of acceptable moral values and social behavior pride of accomplishment self-confidence and self-discipline. This position maintains positive interpersonal relationships with students parents peers and community members and provides the best possible opportunities for student development and growth both educationally and personally.

Reports to: Athletic Director
Direct Reports:This is a non-supervisory role.

Compensation: This is a seasonal part-time stipend-paid position $3100-$3900 per season. Stipend is dependent upon experience and qualifications. The school participates in the Colorado Public Schools Retirement System PERA.

Working Conditions:
Exposure/Noise Level:Occasional exposure to airborne particles fumes and outdoor weather conditions. Normal school environment with moderate to high noise level.
Mental Functions:Analyze collaboration communicate compare compilation of data compute coordinate copy direct evaluate instruct interpersonal skills present report synthesize.
Physical Activities:Outdoor or gym environment. Bend reach sit stand stoop talk walk and heavy person-to-person interaction with athletes students parents families peers and community members.
Weight and Force Demands:Moderate to heavy physical activity (lifting pulling and pushing up to 75 pounds of items in varying shapes/sizes).
Other:May be required to work outside of normal working hours and travel for athletic related functions.
Note:In light of the COVID-19 pandemic during the 2020-2021 school year school staff are critical employees and are expected to perform work on campus as required.
