Job Description
Summary:
The School District of Borough of Morrisville is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a contractedSpecial Education Teacher: Learning Supportposition for the High School (9-12).
Qualifications:
- Valid PA Certification in Special Education PK-12
- Bachelors Degree and/or Masters Degree
- Demonstrate an understanding of the latest instructional strategies and ability to apply them
- Must be innovative progressive and capable of working collaboratively with students staff parents and administrators
- Computer literacy necessary
Clearances and other requirements:
If you are an external candidate and you are offered a position with the School District of Borough of Morrisville please be advised that the following clearances will be required before you are able to begin working:
- PA State Police Clearance (Act 33)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprints (Act 114) IndentoGo
Background employment clearances and the following additional paperwok must be completed within the last year to be valid: Arrest/Conviction Report (Act 24) PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168) and School Health Record which includes physical (within a year) and TB test (within 3 months).
Salary: Per terms of Collective Bargaining Agreement between Morrisville Board of School Directors and Morrisville Education Association.
