About the Role
Based in BYDs warehouse in Melbourne this role will support our Passenger Vehicle Aftersales Operations Team reporting to Senior Parts Specialist. On offer is a Warehouse Coordinator position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving picking packing and dispatching auto parts.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Accurately record all stock movements and transactions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with procurement customer service and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle product discrepancies damages and returns in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and investigate variances.
- Ensure workplace safety standards and compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications & Requirement:
- Bachelors degree or above; qualifications in logistics supply chain management or automotive fields are highly regarded.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse or logistics coordination; experience with automotive parts is an advantage.
- Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Forklift license or knowledge of warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
