Job Description

Permanent RN Labor & Delivery Day Shift

Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients including monitoring fetal and maternal status
  • Administer medications and manage epidurals or other pain control options
  • Assist physicians and midwives with vaginal deliveries C-sections and other obstetric procedures
  • Perform ongoing patient assessments document appropriately and respond to changes in condition
  • Educate patients and families on labor delivery and newborn care
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies standards and evidence-based practices
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and families
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide postpartum care and breastfeeding support
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional competencies
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license in the state of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
