Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Travel/Contract Night Shift
Location:
Utica New York 13502

Job Type:
Contract Travel Assignment
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 10:30PM - 6:30AM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week guaranteed
Pay: $1275 $1388/week
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of an RN or physician
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient conditions
- Administer prescribed medications and injections
- Assist with hygiene dressing changes and wound care
- Collect lab specimens and ensure accurate documentation
- Support during procedures and medical examinations
- Educate patients and families on medications and self-care
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 year of LPN/LVN experience.
- License: Active LPN license in New York (required)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or equivalent
- Skills: Excellent communication clinical accuracy and time management
Note:
- Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 75 miles.
