Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings clearly
- Develop implement and revise nursing care plans based on patient needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community resources
- Delegate and supervise assigned tasks following up to ensure completion
- Utilize problem-solving strategies for effective care delivery
- Provide education to patients and families assessing and documenting learning needs
- Prioritize safety effectiveness and efficiency in patient care
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork growth and professional development
- Contribute to peer mentorship and community health efforts
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards of practice laws and regulations
- Proficiency in medical terminology and common medications
- Understanding of hospital policies and procedures
- Adherence to medical ethics and patient privacy rights
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Positive interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patient populations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office electronic health records email)
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
- BLS certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Specialty training or certifications in cardiovascular care
