Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather document and analyze business requirements.
- Develop functional specifications for various projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments of new initiatives to enhance business processes.
- Translate complex data and analytics into actionable insights for decision-making purposes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes and requirements.
- Assist in project management activities including planning and monitoring.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure alignment between business goals and technological capabilities.
- Identify risks and issues that may affect project outcomes and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support the testing phase by creating test cases and facilitating user acceptance testing.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to business analysis.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall business performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes and analytics tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with software development processes and life cycles.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Experience in conducting workshops and eliciting requirements from stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities.
- Knowledge of cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CBAP PMI-PBA) are a plus.
