Job Description
This is a remote position.
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven SEO Manager to oversee and execute local and organic SEO campaigns for our clients. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on seeing campaigns through from start to finish from setup to tracking and reporting. You ll handle Local SEO keyword research onsite optimization link building and performance reporting with minimal supervision.
You ll work approximately 2 hours per day ideally with a consistent daily commitment between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM AEST. Some flexibility is allowed as long as communication and deliverables remain reliable.
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Local SEO Management
Implement review collection workflows and monthly listing updates
Optimize Google Business Profiles: posts photos videos updates and products
Maintain business directory listings and ensure accuracy
Send monthly reminder emails to clients for content submissions
Provide a detailed monthly report outlining completed work
Keyword Research
Use AHRefs and provide keyword lists to collect organize and evaluate SEO data
Deliver spreadsheet-ready keyword insights for client presentations
Onsite SEO Audits & Optimization
Run and interpret AHRefs SEO audits; prioritize fixes
Write and update page titles meta descriptions image alt text and optimize media
Recommend content improvements based on SEO principles
Link Building
Develop and execute link-building plans based on monthly keyword strategy
Coordinate copy with writers and source high-quality backlinks (free & paid)
Track and report link-building outcomes
SEO Reporting & Tracking
Build and maintain Looker Studio and Google Sheet reports
Troubleshoot reporting dashboards and setup for new clients
Setup Google Analytics and conversion tracking (including form thank-you pages)
Summarize SEO insights in client-friendly formats with clear recommendations
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
We are looking for someone who has:
3 5 years experience managing end-to-end SEO campaigns
Proficient with AHRefs Google Looker Studio Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Experience with Local SEO GBP optimization and backlink development
Familiarity with WordPress and (optionally) Squarespace
Ability to explain technical SEO in simple terms
Strong written and verbal English communication
Consistent independent and detail-focused work ethics
Experience with Meta Ads (setup tracking management)
Website/content development experience
Knowledge of emerging SEO trends including AI impacts
TYPE OF POSITION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Works approx. 2 hours per day within 9 AM 4 PM AEST on weekdays

Laptop / Desktop (Minimum requirements 16GB RAM i7 processor & Windows 10)
