Job Description
2-3 months contract with a Local Authority
Job Summary:
Temporary cleaning role providing holiday cover responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various sites.
Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping dusting and waste disposal.
Maintain cleanliness of communal areas offices and facilities to a high standard.
Follow health and safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the relevant team promptly.
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure cleaning schedules are met.
Skills/Experience:
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
Basic knowledge of health and safety related to cleaning tasks.
Reliability punctuality and flexibility to cover holiday periods.
Additional Information:
Full time role: 35 Hr/week / Working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30.
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards. Basic knowledge of health and safety related to cleaning tasks. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to cover holiday periods.
