Position: Domiciliary Care Assistant - Sponsorship Available
BOURNEMOUTH and POOLE (Dorset)
Salary: 25000 PER YEAR
Hours: 7am to 2pm and/or 2pm to 10pm alternate weekends required
Criteria to be met:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Access to your own car
- At least 1 years healthcare experience within the UK
- Have a passion for domiciliary care
- Female
- Prepared to re-locate if applicable

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Personal Care Assisting clients with washing dressing toileting and grooming while maintaining their dignity and independence.
- Medication Support Administering or prompting medication as per care plans.
- Companionship & Emotional Support Engaging with clients reducing loneliness and providing reassurance.
- Meal Preparation & Feeding Assistance Preparing nutritious meals and helping clients eat if required.
- Mobility Assistance Supporting clients with moving around safely including hoisting and repositioning if necessary.
- Household Tasks Helping with light housekeeping laundry and shopping to maintain a comfortable home environment.
- Running Errands Assisting with shopping prescription collection or attending medical appointments.
- Monitoring & Reporting Observing changes in health and well-being and reporting concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Promoting Independence Encouraging clients to do as much as they can for themselves while offering appropriate support.
- Building Relationships Developing a trusting relationship with clients and their families ensuring a person-centred approach to care.

- Full right to work or displaced reference number - Essential
- Driving license and access to a vehicle - Essential
- 1 year homecare experience required full training provided.
- A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- A strong sense of duty of care and commitment to clients well-being.
- Excellent communication and listening skills to engage with clients and families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability patience and a positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to individual care needs.
