Job Description
Coordinate with other departments such as parts & service to ensure all customer concerns are prioritized and addressed in an appropriate manner.
Accurately document all service work performed including parts used labor hours and other important details. Ensure customers are provided with appropriate documentation regarding services performed on their boat.
Ensure all boats are being handled with care before during and after service has been performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure all safety protocols are being followed when performing work to promote a safe working environment.
Attend applicable service schools to maintain certification and continuous educational requirements. Stay updated on trends tools and technologies related to work.
Assist with special work events as needed i.e. boat shows.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum experience of 4 years as a marine technician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a marine technician or similar role preferred
- Marine Technician certification(s) is a plus. Manufacturer certification (Boat or Engine)
- Current & valid driver s license
- Solid understanding of marine systems marine tools and diagnostic equipment preferred
- Excellant verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and as a team in a fast paced environment
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
