Amazon Connect & AWS Operational Engineer
Remote Based in Canada
Cloud contact center engineer role with a focus on Amazon Connect and AWS infrastructure. This intermediate-level 6-month contract offers 100% remote work and the opportunity to drive agile service delivery. Key technologies include Amazon Connect Python Kubernetes Terraform CloudWatch and Splunk.

Incorporated Business Rate: $85-100 per hour.
6-month contract.

Responsibilities:
Design implement and maintain Amazon Connect environments and integrated AWS services.
Configure and optimize Splunk for centralized log management and analysis.
Set up and maintain CloudWatch monitoring logging and alerting systems.
Manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
Enforce cloud security and governance standards to ensure compliance.
Collaborate in agile sprint teams to rapidly deliver operational enhancements.
Independently learn and integrate best practices for cloud operations.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management preferably with AWS.
Strong knowledge of Amazon Connect and its integration with AWS services such as DynamoDB S3 CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster management and containerization.
In-depth experience with Splunk for log management and analysis.
Expertise in configuring CloudWatch monitoring and alerting systems.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform and CloudFormation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Ansible).
