Job Position: Metal Polisher
Pay Rate: $15/hour
Shift/Hours: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 4:00 PM (hours may vary)
Location: Tulsa OK
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Metal Polisher to join our team in Tulsa. The ideal candidate will be experienced in deburring grinding and polishing metal surfaces using a variety of hand and power tools. This role requires a strong attention to detail the ability to interpret blueprints and a commitment to quality workmanship in a fast-paced production environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Deburr grind and polish sheet metal and cast metal components
Use hand and power wheels/belts to polish brass bronze aluminum gold and silver
Interpret job travelers blueprints and technical drawings to meet finish specifications
Identify and correct surface defects ensuring proper finish standards are met
Properly set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment
Maintain high attention to detail and consistently meet quality expectations
Complete work assignments within deadlines and according to job specs
Report any defects or issues to the supervisor immediately
Skills & Experience Requirements
Familiarity with general shop equipment and power tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-production environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the job
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all health and safety guidelines
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
Ability to stand bend walk push/pull and use fine motor skills throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to dust noise and temperature fluctuations
