Job Brief:
Are you passionate about procurement sales or marketing Would you like to gain hands-on experience organizing an international B2B online conference Join our dynamic startup for a 3-month unpaid internship and contribute to the creation of a high-impact event that brings together companies thought leaders and academics from the procurement sector across Europe and beyond.
This obligatory internship offers a unique opportunity to network with top procurement professionals apply your academic knowledge and develop valuable skills in event management communication digital platforms and strategic coordination.
Responsibilities:
Support the planning and of a virtual B2B conference focused on procurement topics
Help set up and manage the conference platform and conference app
Assist in developing and implementing a communication strategy for visitors sponsors and panelists
Coordinate speaker outreach and manage both administrative and content-related communication
Help curate conference themes session formats and panel discussions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote the event through digital channels
Maintain databases of contacts schedules and conference materials
Engage with procurement professionals academics and business representatives
Skills Required:
Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Procurement Sales Marketing Business Administration or related fields
Fluent in English or German; additional EU languages are a plus
Interest in developing strong organizational and communication skills
Motivation to learn about B2B event management digital platforms and marketing
Proactive and independent working style with the ability to collaborate in a team
Familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Google Workspace Zoom and Slack
Creativity and attention to detail in preparing compelling conference content
Interest in or experience with virtual event platforms and conference apps is a plus
Important Notes:
This is an unpaid internship with a minimum duration of 3 months.
For German students: This is a Pflichtpraktikum (mandatory internship as part of your study program).
For EU students: We accept obligatory internships required by your academic curriculum.
For non-EU students: Open to international applicants seeking professional experience in a European startup under their universitys internship requirements.
